I grew up in a small village in far-eastern Mongolia, experiencing both the joys and hardships of rural life. In my childhood, I spent a lot of time on horseback too. Although I live in the city for a long time, I still feel like a person of rural Mongolia.

///In the capital, Ulanbataar, I'd recommend Bolod's Guesthouse. Bolod is an awesome little chap who can speak Italian, English, Russian as well as his native Mongolian. He can also arrange the coolest sounding tours at a decent price (Tank driving for example, $20 per km). You get free use of his computer too, and it's in a good location right in the middle of town.///
